Should i read freakonomics
This is sort of my last shot. Stephen and I had met a few years earlier. Stephen was writing a book on the psychology of money at the time and he began following me around to get my story. He decided not to pursue that book thankfully! I had read a galley, but to be honest, I had no idea. It seemed like a great book to me but what else was I going to say at that moment? Nothing wrong with that! I started at the top.
Then…number two — Freakonomics! Its a hit. You were just nervous. But number 2! Holy shit! And it stayed at 2 for I think the next weeks, give or take. Then Super Freakonomics was a hit, the blog is a hit, the documentary, now the radio show, etc. So I spent a lot of time since then trying to figure out, what made Freakonomics a bestseller.

I guess when some people learn to "think like a freak," they stumble into an unavoidable lifetime attraction.
Looking forward to the new book. My dad recommended freakonomics to me when I was 11 and I fell in love. When people would ask me about the book I would excitedly explain in the best terms possible. No one understood why I loved statistics so much. I've been a freakonomics nerd ever since. I'm currently 14 and super excited for think like a freak.
I picked it up at Barnes and noble earlier today in the "books dad would love" and got some odd looks from the cashier.
