Today, Hartwick has a relatively small number of undergraduate students studying a wide rage of subjects.

This has proved popular with students due to the reduced tuition costs. The college campus features its own observatory as well as a museum, craft food and beverage centre and library alongside the red brick academic buildings and historic university hall. There are also numerous sporting and leisure facilities available for use by the student body. The campus provides students with a place for hands-on research and offers collaborative, interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
